The University of Delhi houses its astronomical studies within the Department of Physics and Astrophysics. This department offers comprehensive programs in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Cosmology, integrating both theoretical and observational approaches.To enhance practical training, the department has upgraded its observational facilities with equipment such as 11-inch and 9.25-inch Celestron telescopes, along with instruments like the SBIG ST7 CCD Camera and an OPTEC SSP3A stellar photometer. These facilities are incorporated into the M.Sc. curriculum to provide hands-on experience.
